While we were doing research and searching out inspiration for our own Christmas on The Moon, we found so many Soviet space propaganda Christmas and New Years cards that we decided to collect and share some of our favorites here. The Russians sure love their space travel, and their big beautiful burly bearded Santa Claus, aka Ded Moroz. We love the mix of the 50’s cartoon styles and then the super intricate ones that are such finely crafted works of art.
